Widow Jane Whiskey approached us seeking a creative solution that could capture the soul of their brand while taking inspiration from an existing large-scale build. One that, while visually striking, wasn’t practical for travel or repeated activation.

The result was a streamlined, evergreen installation built for efficiency, without sacrificing impact. What once required a 20-person install was reimagined into a design that could be assembled by just two, maintaining and elevating the visual storytelling. The new build wove the Widow Jane narrative more cohesively throughout, enhancing both brand connection and operational ease.

We explored several concepts that celebrated the brand’s deep connection to Brooklyn and its Red Hook distillery, inviting guests into an immersive interpretation of the distillation process and the craftsmanship behind the spirit.

I led the creative direction and spatial design development, translating early sketches into detailed renderings and build-ready plans. My role included shaping the overall environment, guiding material selections, and refining each design layer to ensure the installation felt both authentic and transportive.

Ultimately, the chosen direction paid homage to the beloved installation it replaced, refined with intentional storytelling elements that highlighted Widow Jane’s roots, materiality, and unmistakable character.
